Chris Cardillo - Senior Partner

Chris Cardillo spent the first half of his legal career, as a partner with his brother Harry Cardillo, representing individuals and corporations in complex financial transactions.  His legal services also included the drafting of contracts covering a broad range of legal topics required by his diverse clientele.

During the last five years Mr. Cardillo has used his transactional skills to effectively represent clients in both civil and criminal courts on the state and federal levels.  His experience and understanding of the complexities of the underlying transactions has provided him the ability to effectively assess cases and advise clients in negotiating settlements or pursuing litigation.  Currently, he represents clients in high net worth divorce cases, federal criminal proceedings, bankruptcies (Chapter 7, 11 and 13), and cases involving complex commercial litigation.

Although Mr. Cardillo is broadly labeled a litigator his concentration and passion revolves around representing medical professionals.  In this capacity Mr. Cardillo has helped clients in various ways including but not limited to creating medical management companies, drafting leases and employment agreements, representation of doctors in relation to OPMC and criminal investigations and prosecutions.

Mr. Cardillo prides himself on providing personal and detail oriented service to all of his clients.  He is a graduate of Cardozo School of Law and a Captain in the New York Guard.

Sonya Keyser - Partner

Sonya Keyser is a founding partner of Cardillo & Keyser, P.C.  Since becoming an attorney Ms. Keyser has built a reputation around passionately embracing the ethics of quality, honesty and dedication.  She provides excellent legal advice coupled with aggressive representation on behalf of her clients.  Currently, Ms. Keyser is focused in the areas of Estate Planning, Business Law, and assisting with government based programs including obtaining grants, and representing clients with the Social Security Administration (disability).

Mrs. Keyser received her J.D. from New York Law School and a B.S. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.  Prior to becoming a lawyer she gained extensive experience in international business and finance.

Sonya Keyser is a member of the New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, New York County Bar Association, Business Law Chapter of the American Bar Association, Richmond County Bar Association.  In addition to providing pro-bono work, community service is also very important to Mrs. Keyser and she works very closely with many philanthropic organizations throughout the world

Stephen McCarthy, Esq. - Criminal Law

Stephen McCarthy, Esq. has been practicing criminal law in New York for 26 years.  He is an alumnus of Georgetown University Law Center, Criminal Justice Clinic.  He was an assistant district attorney with the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office from 1985 through 1996.  During his time he successfully tried some of the most significant narcotics and homicide cases in New York City.  He retired as Bureau Chief of one of the most successful felony trial divisions in NYC.

For the past 15 years he has exclusively practiced criminal defense on both the state and federal level in the New York metropolitan area.  His practice emphasis the successful resolution of cases through effective negotiation with the prosecutor coupled with the threat of a very skilled trial defense supporting the negotiation.

Glenn Bank - Immigration

Glenn Bank has practiced immigration law for more than 30 years.  He has appeared on behalf of clients in immigration courts and offices throughout the United States as well as in federal courts.  Mr. Bank has also testified as an expert witness on immigration practice and procedure in federal and state courts.  He has also appeared on Court TV as an expert on immigration issues.

Mr. Bank is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has served on the Committee of Immigration and Nationality Law of the New York County Lawyers Association.
